Update from Idaho

It's been a while since this blog had some activity. Joel and I are each working on separate small projects in the massive amounts of spare time that student teaching has left us.

Here are some of the things that I've created since our last update:

This is a textured grid drawing. Sharpie on sketch paper. It looks cooler in real life...the camera just doesn't do it justice.

One of my students brought in a ukulele and asked me to paint a tree on the back. I obliged.

Negative space letters - a project in art one for Halloween or autumn.

Beach watercolor triptic. I love how this turned out!

And finally today, some ceramic fish candle holders. I named them Maude and Maurice.

Finally Some Activity!

So the blog is officially getting some attention.

First I need to Apologize to Natalie for erasing much of her original post. Sometimes I'm dumb when I try to learn new things! Please forgive me friend.

Moving forward...

Check back periodically for new stuff and I'm sure exciting revelations as we both begin Student Teaching a Nation apart! The differences between Texas and Idaho I'm sure will be drastic and enlightening. We look forward to the future and hope you can enjoy what we get to do everyday, right alongside us!
